Hi everyone,

I have a question about the proof of fund. I have 14000 in my saving which has not been touched for more than a year but I also have a line of credit which I used to buy a car. I was wondering if they ask me for proof of fund if I only send them the print of saving account would that be enough or they will find out that I have a line of credit and I need to show that I have used that to buy a car?

just got my latest GCMS notes, ... arrived on day 35. Application due date went from 2014/03/30 to 2014/04/30, but eligibility due date remained at 2014/04/16.

Good thing I looked they noticed that my latest reference letter from my academic supervisor b/c it was printed on non-letterhead paper, .... need to fix that right away.
My due date was very similar to yours. So, they probably have changed mine to 4/30 or later, too. Did they write something in the note section about your ref. Letter? Who wrote it? FA...?

Hello Members,

My husband and I plan to land separately. I am the principal applicant. I know that I should land first. Can I do it in morning in Alberta, and he does it in BC in the afternoon on the same day? Are there any regulation says how many days at least should be between the two landing dates?

Due to some issue, we cannot land together. I will do it first.

Thank you so much.

Was it generated on April 1st? Hopefully, you'll hear very soon.
Good for you that you found that note, update it again ASAP.

Same thing happened with me. In my first GCMS which I got in January, 2014 they mentioned my application assignment due date was 28/01/2014 and the eligibility due dates were 27th May, 2014 and 3rd June, 2014. In the recent GCMS that I got couple of weeks ago the assignment due date was bumped up to 28/04/2014 but the eligibility due dates were same.

Hi everyone,

10 days ago my Ecas showed decision made. I have no idea when this changed, but it could have happened much earlier.
I did medical and paid RPRF
I haven't heard anything since then, although I have ordered GCMS notes but I haven't received them yet.

How long does it take between the ecas showing decision made and an actual word from CIC? I'm freaking out, as this is my second application (first one was rejected based on the infamous job letter).

THANKS!!!!!

Finally after 3 years looking for permanent residency, I got the RPRF email today. At least a real good sign so far.

I have 2 questions.
I've been away from the forum for some weeks. Is it still as before, so should I expect my medicals soon this week?

Does any body know of a quick clinic for doing the medicals in Ottawa?

Thanks a lot in advance.

Do not worry, you'll get your PPR very soon!
Receiving the RPRF request means that you passed the eligibility, the rest of it is the admissibility.
BTW, Would you please share your second application timeline with us?

You will receive it tomorrow. Do you know about your assigned due date?

Thanks aidina and N_O. The last GCMS I got last week. My due date was moved to April 30 , and it was the fourth extended due date.
Hopefully I'll get it tomorrow.

By the way, any one knowing of a quick physician in Ottawa?

aidina, do you have an idea of what the average waiting time is for Iranians between the medical and getting visa? I am now looking into the spread sheet but do you have a rough idea?

Apparently, it varies from 3 to 6 month, excluding me :).

Yeah, still 6 months is fine. Your case is maxing it out. Hope you hear good news soon.
By the way, in the email, they mentioned that admissibility and criminality have not started yet. Is it normal? or shouldn't they have been already started and passed a few months?
