Hi guys,

I received an email which request my wife's photos:

Our office requires that you submit two (2) passport size photos of your spouse, xxx, in order for your application to be finalized. The photos must meet the following requirements....

Is anyone here getting a similar email? Does it mean that the photos we submitted before doesn't meet the requirement?

BTW, we have got the passport request, and we sent our passport to them 1.5 weeks before.

Get them new photos that are near to the old ones you sent them. They are issuing the landing visa for you. I guess so

Hey folks,

I need your help ASAP. I am filling the application form for additional family information, which is also mandatory for spouses. In case of my spouse, where does she need to write her name in this form? In Applicant or Spouse????

Thanks a lot!!!!

I got RPRF request today :o ;) :) ;D

If I remember correctly, she should write her name as applicant and your name as her spouse.

It's you the applicant. Your spouse is the spouse of an applicant. She should put her name as the spouse and your name as applicant. I am seeing this now in my spouse's form.

I doubt this. Both of them are applicants. One is the "principle" applicant. I filled my form like this. I think another person should comment on this question.

I already asked this question from CPP-Ottawa by email. They replied that I am indicated as the primary applicant, but the form is signed by my spouse.

An applicant is always the person who is eligible to apply and may add his/her spouse to his/her application.

I got my first GCMS after submitting my medical forms. I have checked the officer's notes for the assessment of my application.

The officer asked for many things: RPRF, Medical forms, RCMP for me, Police Clearance for my spouse, updated proof of fund.

The weird thing is that we only got the request for RPRF and medicals 1 month ago. They did not ask for the rest. Why?

Are they going to get the medicals done first and then ask for the rest ? It just wastes time!

Anybody has an idea of what's going on for my case?

By the way they already got our medical results 2 weeks ago.

One more question, just to double-check it:
Criminality is related to Police Clearance and RCMP while Security is related to background checking done by CIC.
Am I right?

Thank you.

If they did not ask you to do it then , it can be internal process. But I would recommend that you do the electronic finger print at Commissionaires or a similar company and it can be attached to your file. When the officer review you file it will be complete, then.
