Can you provide more information as required for the spreadsheet so I can include your information? Once again, congrats :) It's good to know Sydney has hit a sweet spot in processing, a bit earlier than last year (if you recall, Sydney was processing applications so fast last year around April). And as JVJ mentioned, be ready for request for POF (if you did not include 6 months transaction already with initial application)
Sure, but all I know for now is that I sent my application March 11. And I received PER today.
They have not even cashed my credit card or maybe it's not shown up yet in my bank. Also there is nothing in my status.
Any other information you are looking for?

I mean, other information such as country of origin, number of applicants, TA/RA experience, etc so I can complete the spreadsheet :)

asbereth, I am wondering about some people in the spreadsheet after "CAPS has been reset".
They received doc request very soon after 2-3 months. While last year it took 1 year for most of us to get a doc request.
Is CPP-O much faster this year? or it's something else?

That's a good question. I think they probably changed the order they evaluate recent applications. Since POF is part of eligibility, they probably check whether or not you satisfy POF requirements as soon as they receive the documents from Sydney, before they even check anything else! I'm not sure, but this could be because of the amount of rejections for not satisfying settlement funds requirements. Did you submit 6 month transaction with the initial application?

So you mean those early doc requests are all for POF. And we can't conclude that CPP-O is faster than last year.
I've already submitted my 6-month POF, so I'll expect another long silence until they accept/refuse my app.

I think they would still try to honor the due date, which is one year after PER. I don't think anybody has heard later than one year after PER so far :)

Actually, I would hope (not that I have any evidence of this) that Ottawa would be much faster than last year. Remember that 2012 applicants had to deal with the gruelling wait after Buffalo office was closed down. We've been hearing people reporting either document request or medical request lately for 2012 applicants, so hopefully things are much faster these days.

Is this the content of PER letter ? Or do You have positive final determination

"Based on a review of the information you have provided, your application has received a positive determination of eligibility to be processed on the basis of your enrollment in, or completion of, a PhD program as specified in the Instructions issued by the Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism and published in the Canada Gazette on November 5, 2011. However a final decision on your eligibility to be selected as a federal skilled worker will be made by a visa office."

Did anyone here send a RA work experience letter with his application package that is based on an award/scholarship (not RA limited hours contract)?

I think a lot of us are funded through non-taxable incomes when it comes to RA. There has never been the requirement that the incomes need to be taxable, as long as it is paid work experience, provided of course, that your work experience letters contain all information prescribed in the checklist.

Uwindsor2009, I'm assuming that you are in Ontario? Have you tried applying for OHIP or local tuition rates?

I haven't heard anything from Ottawa yet.

I would say their due dates vary case by case.

Your due date is March 21 2013, so let's see if you will hear something by then. Hopefully it's good news :)

Thank you for answering. Is there a confilicte to show both things a contract that I work for 66 hours per month as a part time RA and an expereince letter that shows I work 37.5 x 4 weeks (full time job) from my supervisor?
I am worried of misrepresentation and rejection.
