Hi TirusX and Asbereth, Did you send canadian PCC also. Is it required or suggested?

Whether any other person has sent canadian PCC or any other asked for ever?

I don't think anyone here, who already got their medicals, PPR or PR, actually sent Canadian PCC with their application, nor was anybody ever asked to provide RCMP PCC later on.

Did Ottawa put the note at the end of January, right after you e-mailed them? How do they call your 2nd letter in the note? Sorry for all these questions, I am in the same boat and little bit anxious :). I have ordered my CAIPS to see if they have considered mine as well or not.

Yes, Aidina. The letter was mentioned as "Letter from PA" and the rest are police certificats...I don't know what PA stands for?

And that's what we do more than anyone else right? We persevere despite the unfairness, injustice, inconsistency and all the bad things that happens to us?
Good luck with your applications this time. I'm confident things will go faster and be less annoying this time around.

Nobody can say his/her application is 100%. If they want, they CAN always find a small problem in your application and refuse it. All we can do is to try and make it as perfect as possible. And then cross our fingers and hope we don't get so unlucky to get one of those picky officers.
Hopefully I don't get.

I can't tell you how much I agree with on that statement. It really depends on your luck. If the officer wants to, they can find the smallest problem with your application and make it a big one. So, yea, there's alot depending on one's luck too...

I couldn't agree more.
Now that a day has passed, I'm actually in a much better mood, but I don't think reapplying under this stream would be the right call.
I could make the letter better, but I feel like they could always find something else wrong with my application.

The one thing I wonder is if I could actually still use the language test scores the day I reapply. I guess it just depends on how long it takes.

Anyway, I wish good luck to everyone here! Hopefully more people get accepted!

How old are your language scores? If you took the test less than two years ago, I think you can still use them. I'm assuming you must have used French for your main language of application? Also, since you have proficiency in both official languages, have a Canadian born child, and can easily claim adaptability points for spouse's education, you could easily get in the low 80s with even only 1 year of continuous experience (and nothing else).

In my opinion though, if it's not too much trouble to get the letter, if your language scores are still currently valid, if you can easily obtain PCCs, and if you can easily show POF for the last 6 months, then you should re-apply. Obviously it would be much easier and faster if you (or your spouse) can be eligible under CEC, and you should in fact apply under CEC if you (or your spouse) are currently already eligible.

check this out guys.
Things will get much harder in the future.

24 percent of 'other' did not agree that immediate relatives of PA's should be accepted? I can understand if they meant relatives such as cousins, uncles, or even grandparents. But I think spouses and dependent children should always accompany principal applicants, unless if they are criminals obviously...

they probably meant that only single people should apply.

Correct me guys if I'm wrong. They consider your proof of language on the day the officer is actually assessing it. Though I'm not 100% sure about this. Then the officer may or may not ask you to provide updated letter. I think you can apply as long as your current proof is not expired, and then update it. This is risky though with these new Ottawa officers.

I just sent my new application today and my proof of language expires Dec 2013. I had to put it in my package and hope they consider it before it expires. But I will take another test later in summer to renew it. I couldn't wait more, since FSW is changing in May.
Hope I get through this time. :)

My e-case is still inaccessible. Is there anyone with the same situation?
