Hi people that got medical request (lamarck, dj2009,otacon,rgb,pass2012). Did you do your exam already? Can you guys share your experiences?

I don't know exactly which kind or info about the medical you are looking for, but I hope this helps:
I paid: $250 for the medical, $100 for blood work and $40 for X-ray: total of $390.
My medical was pretty simple and brief. They took some measurements: weight, height, blood pressure. The Dr. asked me simple yes or no questions like if I ever had certain illness, done drugs, etc. She checked my chest and I believe that was it. It was pretty fast, way faster that the actual time I waited to be attended.

Can anybody PLEASE answer my question? Did all of the applicant who were requested to submit documents received some feedback (medical or other mails) from CIC during the past month. I applied in Jan 2012 and last month (Jan 24 2013)were requested some document that we did submit (Feb 07,2013). But no news yet. I am getting worried that maybe they sent us an email and it somehow got spammed or not received. Should I contact them?

I don't think you need to panic or contact them. You just sent the document a few weeks ago, that is too soon. Most of the time it will be months until you hear from them again. Relax and wait

No. they will not say anything, neither confirm or deny they received your docs.

Ya, eCas is crazy. While some got their second line after they either submitted their documents (which is probably a good thing), or after medical, some did not get the second line "We started processing your application..." even after they're done with their medical...

You know though, if you look at the Jan/Feb applicant, they all pretty much received the medical within few weeks of submitting the documents, I worry that once they move on to the later applicants, the previous ones like us will be forgotten for another year or so. That is what worries me a lot.

Well that's disheartening! It just seems so hard to communicate with them, ugh!
I think you have a point about the PC.
What about the CELPIP, do I just refer to the one they have?

You don't need to resend the language test result. Send a photocopy, and in the cover letter, make sure to mention "CIC retains the original". This is actually stated in the guidelines. All other documents must be obtained again though.

I ordered mine on Jan. 29th and still haven't received anything...And I highly suspected that it'll show the same thing as yours...haven't started yet since I'm a March applicant...

and another thing I applied on May 2012, with foreign work experience, now I gathered one year full time equivalent job experience in Canada, and got the police clearance, my question is can I send these document to CPP-ottawa even if they don't ask for it?

Oh Yeah, it takes them 1 year just to read a few line reference letter and reject people! Funny part is that, the PER e-mail says "your application has received a positive final determination of eligibility for processing on ..." . Later on, Ottawa rejects the application based on ineligibility . I wish we could sue them.

They will not bother themselves by starting the security check before you pass the medical to speed up the process, and assessment should not take longer than a few hours/days in my opinion. That's why CAIPS does not show anything even for late Feb applicants.
