You should expect it very soon, my application reached CIO first time on Oct. 1 and was mailed back to me on Dec 21.hqdavidzhang said:Hi The_Prince,

This is thier regulations, although it seems illogical but we have to follow it. It is not a big deal, it is all about lost time.
You just need to update some forms and some documents like the bank statement, you don't even need to update documents like police certificates. you may start doing that even before receiving your application to be ready to mail it back again as soon as you get it.
