I have 6 lines in my ecas, the last one being "we received your medicals".

I believe he means the file location which is mentioned in GCMS notes. Could you please check it out and let us know?

The location of my file is the same as many others in this forum:
FSW - APPEARS RFV
And the group name is "RFV -> 31 March, 2016".

Hello folks,

CPC-Ottawa requested to send RCMP fingerprints certificate (Nov 16). The email particularly instructed:
"My name....
> RCMP Criminal Record Check: Please provide a certified criminal record check based on fingerprints"
You must send us the requested information by email within 30 days from the date of this letter.
Please reply directly to this email and put your application number in the title."

I did exactly what was asked, obtained the RCMP fingerprints certificate from local police, scanned it, and sent it by email on Dec 1. Got an automated reply in response.
The ecas was updated (Line 7) in late November, see below. However, strangely, a new line appeared (line 8, see below) few days ago that doesn't make sense to me, bcz it is exactly the same line like line 7 but I didn't receive any email other than on Nov 16. Could this just be a technical glitch by ecas/CPC? or did I do any mistake by emailing the certificate? Anybody had/having similar experience? What should I do?

My ecas updates:

Line 7: We sent you correspondence on November 16, 2015. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required. Line 8: We sent you correspondence on November 17, 2015. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. I do not have GCMS notes. I'm a November 2014 applicant.

You should email CIC and figure out whats going on. There is a possibility that you may have missed their email. Also check your spam folder.

Thank you, ehsan.isf for the advice. I just sent an email to CIC explaining my concern and requesting to re-send the correspondence (if there was one). In addition, I will call the call center tomorrow to check if there is any information.

An update. I spoke to CIC call center. The agent said that the line 8 is a website mistake, there was no correspondence sent to me by CIC on November 17 (phew.... feeling relieved!)

On the downside, upon inquiry, I was told that the processing time for Ottawa is now 14 months, not 11 month!! While the website still shows 11 months (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm/skilled-fed.asp#west).
