CIC has updated the processing time for CPC-Ottawa form 18 months to 11 months. It means that after 11 months you can call them and probably the call agent can request the center for expediting the process of your application.

I agree with Viva, I saw that they have changed their average processing time. We have the same timeline, Sep 15th will be 11 month for me too.
I am going to my home country for 5 weeks in Sep 4th. I really wished the gave me PPR before my trip, but now I hope they give it after Sep 20th, then I don't have
to ask for an extension from them. I know I can ask them to stamp the visa in the visa office responsible for my home country inquirers, but I just don't want to do it.
It is not worth the trouble...

In my viewpoint, you guys all get PPR probably in the same week. They may want to finalize all the cases together and close all FSW2014 applications(with CPC-O as the VO).

I find one thing: previously, the requested GCMS notes always arrived in time after one month; but they did not anymore from the last one and the latest one that I should have received two days ago.
This may be a signal supporting the guess that CIC slowed down, at least changed the previous normal processing of, my (and possibly others') application. Or is it caused by too many requests of GCMS notes?

I always get GCMS note about a month after request. Just got one three days ago.
