I don't think so. My notes show that my application was not even assigned to any officer until mid February. It's current location is FSW-REG.

Do you see anything about RCMP screening and information sharing with USA? I can see something like this. My location is FSW-TQF. I don't know what differences are.

If they are doing background check prior to MR, it should be for all applicants, why other NOC applicants are getting MR and not us?

I think PhD category has different processing unit than other NOC applicants.

- LOCATION: RK.... - 30/10/2014 I received the request to renew my passport and to send them the scan
- LOCATION: Appears RFV - 28/10/2014 (RFV? Does this stand for Ready or Review For Visa? Cheesy)
- LOCATION: FSW-REG - 23/09/2014
- LOCATION: FSQ-TQF - 28/05/2014 I guess I paid RPRF and send the requested Doc on this day
- LOCATION: --------- - 26/05/2014 The medical and Doc request (phd info) received on this day
- LOCATION: RK...... - 21/05/2014 According to ECAS they started processing my application on this day
- LOCATION: DS.... - 08/05/2014
- LOCATION: A900 - 13/05/2013
- LOCATION: REGISTRY - 10/05/2013
- LOCATION: IN Transit 06/05/2013
- LOCATION: A87-PhD - 29/04/2013

It seems that my application moved around many places and it was delayed after medical because it stopped at LOCATION: FSQ-TQF for 4 month and then LOCATION: FSW-REG for one month. Finger crossed it is in the FSW JAN pool now and the Due date is Jan 5. I'll keep you updated

I can't see anything about RCMP. All of items show "Not Started".

It is really frustrating with the way the processing of PhD stream is being handled. One of my friend in other NOC got medical on the 13th of March and her application got to Sydney on the 26th of October..This is really unfair ...

Help on my medical exam pls everyone!!! I am an early July applicant, got PER on OCT. 25, 2014, RPRF request on Nov. 17, and medical request on Nov. 20. I did my medicals today, when I realized I've been taking antidepressant for the past year......I told the doctor of course, and now it's on file which makes me start to be really worried :'( :'( :'( Would the reviewer think that my health condition is a concern to my completion of Phd study and thus reject my application? What's worse, I am taking a term off studying back home in China right now, so the medical exam is done outside Canada...Any opinions anyone?

Guys, I totally agree that they are processing our applications really unfairly. But it is out of our control now. Let's calm down and hope that they begin processing our applications again soon. By the way, tomorrow is the first day of spring. Congratulation to all Iranians and also those who celebrate this day as the first day of their new year.
