congratsq30327 said:hi guys, I just got my return passport!!! It was actually lying in my mailbox since this morning. But since the Canada post tracking system is down I haven't able to track and I thought someone would buzz me and ask for signature but clearly for Xpresspost requires no signature...
I got some document in the return package saying that other than going out of Canada and coming back for landing, I have another choice to make an appointment with an immigration officer and go through all the process. I'm confused. So I don't need to walk the Rainbow bridge? Guys, anyone get more understanding of this topic?

Our passports will be back soon. Finger crossed.pepe84 said:Yes, but I haven't got my passport back, lol, it should come tomorrow!
The officer will ask you the question on the COPR which is asking if you have any other dependent other than those listed there and then will ask you to write your answer beside it and put your initial. This is a very important document and the officer told us it will be used for citizenship application so better not to lie for this. I don't think that you need to bring your kid to the border though.pepe84 said:Two things:
1-Of course it's fine not to bring your sons for the landing procedure because they are Canadian citizens and therefore they do not need to be checked by CBSA.
2-You can still bring 14K for a family of two, but I am not sure if CBSA may figure that your family is bigger than 2. If I were you, I would just do the landing very quietly and not mention anything about your Canadian kids unless CBSA asks for that.
Congrats buddy. Do you think that there is a problem if someone who is living in Ontario and just got his permanent residency under phd stream moves to Quebec?Hisham984 said:I forgot also to thank albait and chakri who helped at the beginning of my application.
I read online and it seems other people with the same issue just went to the border to fix it. They mentioned the letter that comes with COPR did mention first name, last name, ... needs to be fixed before landing but not marital status. I don't have that letter here to check though. For me the original date of entry was not correct and the officer at the border said it is not a problem.ganukumar said:Is anyone found mistake in the marital status in COPR. What should we do if we found mistake in that. IO can make correction During landing.
Thanks buddy, I'm sure you'll get yours activated today.pepe84 said:Many congrats bro! You should receive it today!
