Friends, especially seniors what was the time lag between second line we started processing to MR...

I can understand now it could be a little longer between second line and MR as CIC was on holidays for long period...

Just curious to know in your cases.... Thanks in advance guys...

For my case it took less than 2 weeks. But I know it took way long for some others.

From ur profile I can see u got medicals in 15 days (two weeks) after PER

But I am asking for the time between 2 line update (we started processing ur app....) in ECAS and MR

The second line appeared in my ECAS on 7th. The third line appeared on 18th.
However if you mean the timeline between the update of second line and medical request, I should say that the second line appeared on 7th and I got medical request at the same day!

Thanks pg123. But don't worry. Me and few other members experienced this. People after us (In the months August and after) waited longer for medical request after PER. You will get it finally.

Ya I got my second line (we started processing ur app... on Dec-30-2014) on 1st january I saw it in ECAS and now waiting .....

From CPC Ottawa forum, I heard that Cairo Visa Office (Egypt) was transferred to CPC Ottawa. OMG, more applications for such a slow and small Visa Office!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is an endless journey!!!!!!!!!!

Is it real? Or somebody was joking? How is that possible? Usually when they close an embassy, they transfer the files to one of the closest embassies in the neighbor countries!
Why did they transfer it to the furthest distance?!!!!

Yes, it is real. I spent some time reading other forums and no one was kidding. It also applies to Islamabad and Port ou Prince VOs. It has been like that since 2010

Oh CPC-O, I hope my medical exams will not expire due to your incompetent services!

I have one more question here. I have obtained 6-month bank statement. But CIC has not requested this document. Can I send them in advance? If so, where and how should I send them to CIC? By email? post? or both?

I had medical examination finished medical examination on Nov 20, 2014, I checked and medical center said they already uploaded our medical. But still my ECAS status not been updated, Any suggestion for this?

Have you submitted both your spouse and your medicals on the same day? If they were uploaded to CIC in different times you should expect delays.

We did medical in different dates as we both were in different locations.
