If you applied on Nov 11, please note that the day number 30 after submitting your request is tomorrow Dec 11. Remember November has only 30 days!

They said to wait until the day 30 has passed in order to make a claim. In my case, I emailed them the day 31 because the day 30 was a Sunday and they said that my request was due on the day my email was sent (last Monday). So wait until tomorrow to email them back.

In my case its also in the early January, 2015. Fingers crossed I wish it would be date when they ask us Passport Request.

Many thanks! Yes, I heard from a friend of mine (nothing official) that CPC Ottawa rarely asks for passports to PR applicants after mid November until early January, because they know many of us may have made plans to travel outside Canada for Christmas celebrations.

They only ask for passports to TRV applicants in that period!

In my case its also in the early January, 2015. Fingers crossed I wish it would be date when they ask us Passport Request.

Thanks pepe. points remained same. so, applicant doesnt need to worry about points after getting PER.

do they wait until the due date or they do open file before the due date? any guesses/info?

i have an upcoming trip in second week of january. will it be possible to get passport back if they ask PPR in the last week of Dec.

Your application must be received by them before Jan. 1st if the cap is not reached.
