Finally guys I got PPR... I'm still in shock. The wait wasn't easy... I thank God for victory at last...

Please for those yet to send their passports out for visa, AVOID ACCRA OR VFS LAGOS.... I read on another platform that ppl are sending their passports to London VO, and visa is issued within a week... If you can, please send to them and avoid anything Africa
Congratulations on your PPR! However I’m not sure if this info of passport submission is right. Imagine applicants sending all passports to Europe or North America to avoid anything Africa. What would become of those offices. I strongly believe that your local visa office is responsible for issuing your visa.

Anyone here who submitted Schedule 4 in the last 6 weeks and gotten PPR yet? it's 4 weeks since I submitted mine. No news from them. Not even acknowledgement.

I strongly disagree... You can send your passport to any VO. and take note: the reason why you are advised to avoid ACCRA or VFS Lagos is because they take far too long time to process. just like they take time to process PPR.

I have friends who have sent passport to Accra since 22nd October. They are still waiting for their passports.

This is weird :(

PPR- Nov 23 2020
Went to DHL - Dec 3 2020
DHL delivered pp to VFS Lekki - Dec 4 2020
VFS provided tracking # - Dec 7, 2020

Med expires July 2021.

No updates since 7th Dec...

meanwhile i'm thinking of emailing Accra VO to ask if they have received my and to inform them i intend to travel before my meds clock 6months.

do you think it would be smart to email them of the above?
I think we need to exercise some patience. I submitted on 13th Nov, VFS Lagos acknowledged and sent to Accra on 17th Nov. No email or communication whatsoever since then. I read on another forum how someone sent passport to Ottawa and it’s been 5 weeks till date and no update from the visa office. I think it’s a general delay for whatever reason . Let’s hope for better .

Do you also have friends who sent their passports to other VO and got them stamped?
I am in agreement with the others above. We we wait it out with Accra!

Well, I understand where you are coming from but I think the delay is for those whose medicals are 6months old or above, my medicals is still about 4/5months old, I do not want to reach that 6months old threshold.

I have just sent a mail to Ghana office politely requesting for updates while informing them of my plans, I hope they reply me

Yes a friend who resides in London sent and got his COPR and passport back within 2weeks of submission to London VO... although i do not know how old his medicals was

You can actually. Someone in my WhatsApp group sent to London from Lagos last week. His counterfoil was issued withing 4 days. His PP should be back any moment. You'd just have to arrange for courier pick up.

A lot of people got PPR today and so far, 2 people have confirmed sending to London.

I submitted schedule 4 since November 2, still showing the document you provided in uploaded.... No response since. I even raised webform to accra, haven't got response since 2 weeks now.

Hello all,
I realized last week after getting my BIL that my name is only printed First name and last name without my middle name, and my middle name is included in my passport. I have sent a webform last week to add my middle name to my given name. . My first question is will I still be able to attend the biometric appointment by showing a passport that include middle name and my BIL doesnt?
Second question is when sending a webform with such a request (adding middle name), what should I include in the Type of inquiry drop panel? should I say it's a change of contact information, or a permanent residence ( applied online)?
Thanks

I do not think it will make any difference. Your mail will not influence their procedures.

Got the same email, then another about an hour later saying the passport is in transit from Ghana VFS to IRCC Office

I submitted at Lagos VFS on 30th Nov.
This sounds like good news, you should logically get your passport back in Lagos in a couple of days
