Hello everyone, please did anyone here submit an upfront PCC from Ghana? I submitted one for my spouse and the last GCMS note we got on Monday stated that we would have to get a PC from Ghana after the Covid19 restriction.. which means the one we submitted wasn't acknowledge..

Why wasn't the previous one acknowledged?
What exactly did the GCMS notes say?

Note one says Admissibility - Crim: passed for PA. Ghana PC to be requested for SP when possible after convid 19 restrictions.
Note 2.. officer review based on a review of documents on file, I am satisfied that the PA meets the requirements of the class. Eligibility passed. Next step: admissibility...... Note one above is the latest.m

OK. You'll have to find out from those who are in Ghana if PCC is currently being issued during this period.
Getting it and submitting it before it's requested for will save you time.

We actually have to wait for them to request for it because we already tried the upfront route and they didn't say anything about that. The uploaded documents still shows that we submitted a Ghana police report..

@Annie01, if you already proactively sent the Ghana PC via web-form, just ensure you include an LOE clarifying that you decided to send the PC based on finding in your GCMS notes..... I am sure this will be considered by the officer when your file reverts for final review.

I actually sent it while submitting my application in December. Is it possible that it has expired. Should I send LOE letting them know I submitted by one in December? Dunno...

There's a reason why they want a new PCC for spouse, but as you shared the notes it is not mentioned, and they will not ask for it till Covid 19 restrictions are in place. Like a previous poster already mentioned to you, I would STRONGLY recommend you to get a new PCC for the spouse and submit via webform saying you saw the request via GCMS.

They will accept the new PCC and finalise the remaining admisibilty tasks. Your file will be finalized and you will receive PPR as soon as travel restrictions are removed by Canada.

Good day all, I recently got my GCMS notes and it states that Eligibility is passed, but the Security and Criminality are still not yet started. Can anyone advise what I can do to get this started? My AoR is March 2019. Thanks

Check page 2 of your GCMS notes under 'ASSESSMENT' and confirm what is stated for criminality and elegibility.... Criminality review is based on the police certificate you provided, so it's often a fast process. However, security comes last, after passing elegibility..... By the way, have you submitted Biometrics?
