Wow! It must have been nerve wrecking. Good thing u finally got the visa. Please could u elaborate on the GCKEY approval? I thought it is used to log into the cic account. Didnt know it needs approval before issuing COPR

i have no idea why it takes that long. It all depends on how quick you get your GC key approval. Some got theirs in 5 days...mine took 1 month. I got my pick up mail on thursday and paid DHL to pck up that day. and received it on Monday.

It means when your final decision changes to "your application has been approved"

I just sent my passport to Accra yesterday through DHL. Firstly how long does it generally take to process and secondly I paid =N=19,500 for the courier and I presumed it covers the pick up service (thats what I asked for). Someone told me she paid an additional fee for pick up. Is that true?

Firstly,congratulations on your passport request. It takes a week to a month presently. Some cases are processed faster than others and the reason behind that is unknown to me. Unfortunately, N19500 covers the submission to accra and in most cases u pay around 20k after recieving a pick up mail stating that ur passport or passports are ready. I was told i couldnt pay both fees at the dhl office because of the unstable exchange rate. All the best.

Iambube correctly answered your question. I paid 20.5k for sending and 21.5k to receive. Remember to give DHL a well printed copy of your pickup mail when you receive it. Not doing that cost me 6 extra days to receive passports back. I received PUM after 10 days of passports submission. Some take less, others take more, no one can accurately predict.

Your secondary visa office i guess. Since you have sent to Accra and got approve on my CIC then i assume you are good to go. Just wait for your pickup mail. It seems using courier makes the processing faster. I got pickup mail just after a week.

Hello Dupsyola and congratulations. Please did dhl quote your application number on the waybill? I am just curious because i received my PPR on the 25th of july and dispatched on the 27th of july. I asked the dhl officer to quote my number on the waybill but she said it was not necessary.

Passport is usually sent to the visa office that sent you the PPR mail. Their address will also be on your PPR letter. In my case London visa office processed my application but i received my PPR via Accra visa office so passport was sent to accra. Just after one week i received passport pickup mail
