I had a hearing through the phone and at the end of my interview i was told that i satisfied the officer with my h&c reasons and documents. The phone line got disconnected at the end, i want to know what should i do next? I was rejected for a travel document before i appealed and currently i am in Europe. Should i wait, when should i apply for a travel document? What is the procedure? Thanks

I would suggest calling CIC.

If you were rejected, then appealed - I would imagine that the appeal would then override the rejection. If so, I would expect them to send the PRTD to the address listed on the application, for the fee already paid.

Contacting CIC by phone: If you are in Canada, you can call the CIC Call Centre by dialling 1.888.242.2100, Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm local time, except for statutory holidays. To speak to an agent, you can sometimes navigate through the automated messages by pressing 1-1-1-2-0.

Weird story.

If the lady told you that you're not longer a PR I would assume that you didn't win the appeal, because if you did you would still be a PR. Maybe you got something wrong while being on the phone?

I wouldn't call but write an email and ask for clarification, describing the interview to your best knowledge and what you've been told by that lady.

I think it's always better to write and wait for an answer. If you get a written answer you won't have to wonder anymore.

Good luck!

You may not have completed your appeal then, and possibly lost it. You should write and ask for clarification, as well as call to find out if you are subject to a removal order.

If you are subject to a removal order, then you need to leave.
