Appeal @ IAD

Dear All,

I am preparing for my appeal at the IAD after my travel document was refused for not meeting the residency obligation

I will mail my file including the following :

1- the letter from the embassy
2- the notice of appeal
3- photo copy of my PR Card, SIN card and Confirmation of PR status
4- my attention of graduation & TOEFL score
5- 2 medical report that shows why I did n't meet the residency obligation
6- statement of account that prove my cash deposits for settlement
7- a cover letter explaining my case
8- photocopy of my passport
9- my US B1/B2 Visitor Visa

my questions are :

1- is it possible that the IAD process my case without a lawyer, just by phone if hearing is necessary cuz am overseas ?

2- how much cash i need to deposit in my bank account for settlement since I have some assets that I still meed to sell before leaving?


3- is there any required papers that I missed to mention above ?

4- how long does it take to process an apeal after it's received by the IAD office ?

Why do you want to include copy of your US B1/B2 visa in appeal?

since there is no embassy in Syria maybe it will be easier to pass through the states after I get the permission from CIC
