we sent our application on june the 22 usually you get a letter after a month stating that we got your application and we wil process it etcc , but so far we havnt heard anything yet . is it normal ?
is there a way to check your status although you didnt get a letter?

you have to understand that it can take 10+ days for the letter to get to you through the mail.

to check online, use e-cas:
https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/?app=ecas&lang=en

you'll need the receipt that you paid the fees with and fill in the SPONSOR's information.

You don't get a letter saying they rec'd your application for sponsorship. Once you are approved to sponsor, you will get a letter of approval, then about 2 months later you will get the AOR saying they rec'd the application for PR at the Visa office abroad. Good luck.

we are applying from withing canada though, is that is different that outland? however my friend got a letter saying we rec'd it.
i paid the fee online our num starts with R... no matter what i do i get nothing from the website. the phone service is too busy you can never get a hold of them.

Sorry, didn't realise you are applying inland, I am not sure if it is different than outland.

They will send you a letter stating you are aproved to sponsor in about 60 days from the time it was sent.Be patient this is only the begining(inland )is a long road.

If you've submitted an an inland application you won't recieve any letter that confirms reciept of the application. Processing times for 1st stage approval on an inland application are at about 7-8 months until you will hear anything anout the sponsor being approved.
