Hi All,

We applied for inland spousal sponsorship on 30-Mar-23. I, as a sponsor, just received an AOR from IRCCC today.

My question is - will the applicant also receive a separate AOR? we want to apply for OPW, so need to submit the AOR letter in the application.

They only email AOR to sponsors email. You can apply for work permit with the Aor you received.

Thanks for this information. I was a bit concerned, because Sponsor was sent an AOR last week, but PA wasn't sent any.

We managed to create an account on the tracker page with the AOR details, but we only see "Application Received". PA has a valid biometric, so didn't have to give a new one. Could this be a factor as to why there isn't any update yet besides "Application received" with the date of when we applied?
