AOR??

hello everyone

i submitted a family class application to sponsor my wife (we both are outside canada) 11 weeks ago and I just received a confirmation email from the CIC.
But my wife (applicant) didnt receive any email nor the AOR. Anyone knows why??!!

If your the sponsor and it has a uci and application number thats AOR. Your wife if the PA wont get notice of AOR1 she is the PA.

Look for the F as the starting letter.

but according to the guide on the canada.ca site, the applicant is supposed to receive an Acknowledgement of Receipt (AOR).
Plus i tried linking my paper application online, but it wouldnt work!!

First does it start with an F? Because if an x its only a temp number. She will receive AOR 2 when transfer the file to secondary VO.

Ecas is simple to use. The gckeys is tricky but in my opinion needed, others may disagree. You can check using ecas with date of birth, country of origin, etc.

Ecas is ok, try it and have a look. With gckeys its tricky. I had trouble also but eventually got it. Put in exactly what you entered on the app, and when it ask for number of people put 2

Im a June app. PA is now processing for me in HK. Shouldnt be much longer for me. Next for you they are checking SA approval. Mine took roughly 6 weeks. Also around that mark came bil and medical. Again these times can greatly vary. Its all over the board. What country is your PA from?

Yes bil and medical done. Just waiting for eligibility and background.
