At CIC stage the physical address does not matter any more nowadays (provided you gave email id) because they are only emailing on any queries to you. So all communications happen through email only.

I got my sinp in april 2015, I have applied to CIC on 30 April 2015, They have received application on 3 or 4th may 2015, I am still waiting my File number(AOR), I am bit panicking as Its been almost 2 months, has anybody got the file number who applied on or after 30th April 2015.

PS: Meanwhile I have my submitted my Indian and canadian PCC.

Hi all,
I would like some help or advice regarding my case.I am an AINP inland applicant.
I've just received an email from CIO today and they asked me to pay for RPRF and submit a new police certificate for Japan by 8/24 2015. However, I know that it usually takes between 2 and 3 months to get it mailed from Japan which means that, most likely, I cannot submit it by the given due date. Do you think this will just cause a bit of delay on my case or lead to withdrawal of my application???
I've come this far finally and this worries me quite a lot.
Can you please share your opinion or thought on this.

Visa office will give extension. Apply for pcc and have the receipts of courier delivery and other documents (if any) and then request the visa office 2 weeks before that deadline.

I applied for AINP and got a call from AINP office to confirm my current employment on Friday July 24th. Has anyone recently applied to CIC after got your nomination letter from this program? I was reading the document check list for CIC after nominated and I'm confused about the requirement for police check certificate, could you please give your advice.
On the document check list, it's noted that police certificates are generally considered to be valid for one year from date of issue.
However, on the CIC website, under application guide, it's said "The certificate must have been issued no more than three (3) months prior to submitting your application"

I'm not sure which information is correct as I'm having my police check certificate 5 months old.

Please help!

What you can do is, send your application with this certificate. In case they require an updated one they will request you later. So by then you can get an updated one and send to them accordingly. In case they dno't need, good for you

We sent the application package to CIO-Nova Scotia last MAR 27,2015 and
received the DHL package signed on APR 01,2015.

AUG-20: we received an email saying the application was DEEMED INCOMPLETE and was sent back last MAY-05,2015.

That was almost 4months ago, but my mail box have nothing in there until now.

What do you sugget guys?

1. We can pass another NEW application? Will it be OK to pass a fresh one, becoz the returned one was missing already.

2. Another thing, the Nomination was expired already dated JULY-27,2015 (should I get an extension)???

3. And lastly, the IELTS will also expire this OCT-26,2015, should I retake the exam?

I think:
XEP - Temporary receipt number (that starts with XEP) (For some people this stage is skipped and going directly to EP issuance)
EP - Confirmed receipt number(that starts with EP) (Not sure if we will get file number separately in addition to EP number). Both will come together which we can know. I think UCI (unique client identification number) also we get at this point which you can use it to mention during medical exam at doctor office.
MR - medical request
IP - In Progress status (change of application status to in process)
DM - Decision Made ( final decision of application)
PPR - Passport Request (for stamping)

Hi, I have received UCI and EP number from CIO, NS today. However, I can't check my file in CIC application status. Shall I receive any other number (e.g., file number) from VO and then I can check the status of my application. How long it may take to receive a mail from VO and medical request from now. I have submitted my application to CIO on 22nd September, 2015. I am an outland applicant.
