Hi,

Could you please assist me on Background checks in canada PPR.
I have submitted the AOR on 22nd May 2018. I have got an additional WES duplicate order on 4th June. I have submitted this on June 19.

My current status as at 26/06/2018 is as follows

Review of medical status : "You do not need a medical exam.We will send you a message if this changes"

Background check : Your application is in progress.We will send you a message when we start your background check.

What does this mean?

Why my medical review does not show any progress?

Why my medical review does not show any progress?

Medical got passed in June 28th. Waiting at IP1 until now.

No need to get stressed. My AOR is 21 Feb. Last week my background check status moved from "IP1 to IP2". This took almost 4.5 months! Rest assured your file is being looked at.

This waiting game is killing. I have just passed my 6th week .but it is like an eternity

Your case is so similar to mine i received AOR june 11 and on June 26 ask for additional copy of wes documents and on june 28 medical passed and backgroundverification changed to we are processing your background after that no updates

Why my medical review does not show any progress?

It will take some time, don't worry. I got my AOR on the 17th of July, and my medical was passed today (4th of Aug)
