However, the letter (given to me through the law firm handling my application) states that I was given a provisional number and that I need to sit tight while the minister gives out guidelines on what to do.

Hi, good news on receiving your AOR; please can you advise when you submitted your application and to which visa office? I applied to London office on 20th May 2008 and no AOR yet. Thanks.

My application was sumbitted through the law firm helping me around April 30th or so to the Buffalo, New YorK consolate. I am hoping not to be interviewed, but if I am asked for an interview, I hope it is at the Seattle, Washington consolate since I currently reside in Portland, Oregon (Home of the Portland Trailblazers of the NBA)
