wow! Then I guess I should expect my ppr in the next 2-3 weeks. Bg check shows “in progress” so let’s hope that changes this week or next weekS I honestly don’t know when to expect the ppr though…

Should be 2-3 weeks from now looking at the current trend, but don't get your hopes up because you never know. IRCC is insane and very unpredictable. Regardless, IRCC is trying to finalize newer apps within 6 months so 2022 will be better than the past couple years.

According to myimmitracker, the average number of days between MEP and PPR is 64 between Aug and now. (for post Jul AOR PNP-Os at CIO Sydney)

It’s best they keep up with the trend of finalizing the new apps within 6 months! All we can do right now is be positive lol…

Getting the 1st GU is a huge sign in the positive direction so hold on to that. Ukraine situation could add 2-3 weeks to security checks but shouldn't be much longer.

Got GU this morning. Anxious on what it means. Nothing changed on my profile though, BG still says "we are processing, etc etc"

Was there a time your background check said in progress we will contact you when we start background check.
And when was your last GU? Not the one immediately after MEP/BIL because some persons don't consider it as GU.

I never saw my BG go "in progress".. that's what made me wonder what this GU was about because BG is still saying "we are processing". MEP/BIL was the last movement for my profile before this. I didn't notice other GUs apart from today.

Just watch out within the next 24hrs if it will change or not.

I can understand the anxiety!!! lol! but considering we got the 1st GU, im assuming our eligibility is passed too? i may be wrong.

Could be, yeah. Considering you got GU earlier than I did, you'd probably even get PPR earlier, too.

I'd do the same, but I know IRCC is unpredictable. Will definitely update though about any changes

After waiting for 140 mins, I could get through to ircc and got the worst news ever!

Visa Office - File moved to Montreal on 3rd March 2022
Eligibility Passed- Not started
Security Passed- Not started
Criminality Passed- Not started
Background Check- Not started

seems like he literally read out the updates that is showing in my GC Profile.

I’ve had the worst start to my week!
Sometimes I feel I shouldn’t have called!
