After waiting for 140 mins, I could get through to ircc and got the worst news ever!

Visa Office - File moved to Montreal on 3rd March 2022
Eligibility Passed- Not started
Security Passed- Not started
Criminality Passed- Not started
Background Check- Not started

seems like he literally read out the updates that is showing in my GC Profile.

I’ve had the worst start to my week!
Sometimes I feel I shouldn’t have called!


It will come soon, just hang in there.
 
So my wife just got done with her call with the IRCC agent.

The GU i received on 23rd Feb was probably the move of my file from Montreal to Ottawa...

Hi, what is your VO? my background info status changed to PROCESSING after 14th April GU.

Hi, I'm not sure about my VO. Never spoke to ircc. I tried using TextNow but it would'nt let me register a number.
Yes even my Background status msg says PROCESSING after my 2nd GU.

3- immigration press 1

4- transfer to citizenship and imm can processing application press 1

5- status or processing times press 1

6- become permanent resident press 2

7- application starts with E press 2

8- then enter application number followed by #

9- listen to the entered number and press 1 to confirm

10- enter the year of birth and then listen the entered number and press 1 to confirm

11- hear the details

12- then press 1 to check status (there will be a pause)

13- hear detailed status at the end press 0 to speak to agent

The above-detailed explanation is great but it did not work in my case- at the 13 the step (as mentioned above) the automated voice recording will apologize stating that the call cannot be transferred due to the huge volume of calls and that the caller can try calling some other times or visit the website to check the application status and the call gets disconnected. I tried over 20 times and each time, i ended up having mu call disconnected.
