Last update on my tracker happened on March 20th, I sent a webform asking why there are no updates since January 31st, and they told me an officer was reviewing my application. The only step no started is Eligibility, all the other ones show as complete. AOR Nov. 2. Inland. CEC, 1 dependant.

My guess is the wait is cause of the diversion due to the announcement of the PGWP extension on 17th March. Just received an email from IRCC regarding the same since my PGWP expires in 2023. Could be that they have diverted some resources there.

Oh wow. I sent several webforms too to no avail. Last movement is Dec 6. :(

is it possible that they ignore some applications based on their nationality and political issues? or they have to review all applications?

They have to review all of the applications regardless, if you have doubts about the status of your own application, you can always order GCMS notes to see what's going on.
Some applicants go through a much more detailed security checks depending of their history and country of origin, you won't know about those details without GCMS notes and as a rule of thumb, as long as you're within the 6 months or the current average average processing times, you have nothing to freak about it.

Good luck,

Sounds like you need to order GCMS notes and continue to wait. Unfortunately we’re still in the 6 month period that was stipulated for EE applications, and definitely within the 11 month processing period which is in the IRCC website.

CBSA notes however generally come quicker and contain the same notes on your application.

The tracker is actually getting updated regularly, it’s just the last updated date isn’t updating. Many people on this forum have said their statuses are changing even though the date hasn’t changed. Just means yours hasn’t been updated if you’re not seeing anything

No, that would go against everything that Canada is advertising- welcoming all people regardless of where you’re from.

I'm surprised they reduced the "30 months" period to "11 months" on their website.

I did on Dec 30 but haven't received it yet. I then ordered for CBSA and it confirmed what agents told me before that medical in progress and security has not started yet. But currently, my medical passed last Friday! So security it is.. Gonna call IRCC again tomorrow;)
