Hey guys.
I’ve received my GCMS notes today and I’m a little bit lost.
What I’ve manly noticed is:
Page 2:
“ASSESSMENTS
Eligibility: Passed
Security:
HIRV:
Criminality: Passed
Org Crime:
Medical: Passed
Misrepresentation:
Info Sharing: Complete
Other Regs:
Final: Approved”
Page 25Most updated note)
“NOTES: 1
Created Date: 2023/01/06
Updated Date: 2023/01/06
Restricted: N
Label: General
Office: CPC-Ottawa
Text: ***Officer Review*** File reviewed. Eligibility passed, criminality passed. Medical complete and valid. Integrated search completed- no adverse info found. All requirements met. APPROVED.”
In general, every other information seems passed/approved/granted.
PVO: CIO
SVO: Sydney (is it Sydney, Canada or Sydney, Australia? Because I live in Sydney, Australia and applied from here).
Any clarification or help is welcomed.
Is there anything else that I should see?
Thank you.
well deserved one mateAfter 3 years, 10 months and 11 days as a temp resident, and after 6 months and 24 days of waiting while the PR application was in progress, my eCOPR was received today!
is your VO Sydney?Hey, everyone.
FSW-Outlander here, AOR November 13. My tracker hasn't been updated since April 19, and it shows that the last changes were made in early February (Background check started). Do I understand correctly that this is the longest stage and I might have months of waiting ahead before the check is completed?
I remember I had my own background check started on April 18 as well (AOR Nov 4 2022), which was finished on May 15 (27 days of processing). On May 18, however, my husband's background check was started and, ever since, no more updates. It's been 38 days.Hey, everyone.

I guess there's just us 2 left in this group, my friend, I'm sorry. That GU looks really weird... Did you double check? Sometimes it's a glitch in the system, sometimes it's one of those silly temporary updates that don't last a day. Personally, I've never seen or heard that kind of message on the medical exams field, but I would at least be happy to have had a GU in months (I guess). I'm sorry if that sounded like toxic positivity, that was not what I meant.Guys please help
I received a GU today after two and a half months, and when I checked cic I noticed a change in medical status. It has changed from "you passed on Nov 19th" to "you don't need ..."
Does is mean anything? Is it good news? Bad news?
Yes I did, and it is still there. I dug into it a little a realized this happens when medical has expired or is about to expire, and they assess the application to see if the applicant needs to redo it or they can extend it. But in my case there are four months left. I cannot explain itI guess there's just us 2 left in this group, my friend, I'm sorry. That GU looks really weird... Did you double check? I wish I could help in any way, my friend I'm starting doing some research on how to ask for a VO transfer. I'm starting to believe that the Etobicoke VO is really the reason why my process has taken almost 8 months to be processed. Do you know your VO?Yes I did, and it is still there. You'll need at least 6 months left on it to get PPR / eCOPR. So they'll most likely just extend your medicals for another 12 months if you meed all the criteria, otherwise, if you're outland you may get a new request to do them againYes I did, and it is still there.
