I passed my 180 days in 2nd November and still waiting I don't know for how long.
Look like my paper still in security check as CIC people said last time.

Hi Guys,

I received Passport request and have sent my passport and photos to Ottawa. The back of the photo has the name and complete address of the photo studio along with the date when the photo was taken. However, I forgot to write my name and dob behind the photo.

I am not worried about my application?

Please suggest..

I hope this won't be any problem, as I also didn't mention my DoB and name on the back. Although my case has been approved and close. Passport is already in the "city of destination" and hopefully will be delivered tomorrow.

Hi everyone,

If anyone one can share the landing procedure from Edmonton and number to make an appointment at the local immigration office.
I need some suggestion regarding flagpole if there are any future consequences as I don't have US visa. I have read some threads, but couldn't find any such experience if it will be a problem to get a US visa in future after flagpole without US visa.

Application/profile status Closed
Review of eligibility Passed
Review of medical results Passed
Review of submitted documents Provided
Scheduling an interview
A background check is needed Complete
Final decision This application has been approved

Hope I can receive my passport soon.

finally, after submitting passport on 2 Nov to SGVO, today I checked in cic website any found this:
Application/profile status Closed
Review of eligibility Passed
Review of medical results Passed
Review of submitted documents Provided
Scheduling an interview
A background check is needed Complete
Final decision This application has been approved

Hope I can receive my passport soon.

btw, I did not receive any notification email from CIC about this status change.

It's normal not to get any email on such update. Be assured though that your passport is ready to be shipped or already on its way back.

Hey Buddy,

US visa is not required for Flag-poling, you just need to goto Cuttos border. You dont require any appointment, they are open Mon-Sun 8:00 am till 23:00 PM...
Just tell the agent when you reach the border that you are here for you PR and need to Flagpole to complete the PR process...

You are right, I just received SMS/email notification from VFS and collected my passport after that. After coming back, received a cic email about status update.

Wow fast process for you. I got my CIC update 2 days ago and I still haven't got my passport back :'( I am just wondering if your vfs tracking system shows anything? Mine is still read being processed at VAC Singapore

So the timeline is this:
1. CIC updated to approved (I accidentally found out, no notification), at this moment tracking result was still "...being processed at VAC...", basically no change since submission.
2. received SMS and email from VFS, mentioning passport has been dispatched from SGVO, but nothing about collection
3. using the tracking number, I was the same info, plus "passport is ready to collect"
4. just to make sure I called VAC for a double check, they said ready to collect.
5. went to collect in person
6. received SMS from VFS saying passport already collected
7. received belated email from CIC about status update

don't worry, yours should come next week.
