Right... I think you got the passport earlier as you submitted it before holiday rush and also you opted for direct courier service whereas I opted to collect in person from VFS, so might be because of that its delayed as they send and receive passports in bulk from Visa Office in Delhi..
Waiting for next week now as 2nd Jan is also a holiday...

haha, they have switched to mycic a while ago. This was used for paper-based applications when applicants had nowhere to check their status. Don't worry about it

I'm sure this has already been asked but does anyone have a rough or average time for Ottawa to retur. Passports after PPR /COPR? I'm flying to the US in 2 weeks and then on to Europe the following week for work and won't be going to far without my passport!

you should get passport back this week or next week.

I had sent on 16th dec..still no update. I'm also expecting some movement this week.

Usually 14 regular days-business days or otherwise...cic was working last week of dec and yeah it depends on canadapost too ..my humble estimation would be late this week..

Either which way, you will make the trip
