Hi Guys,

Need your help. How should I carry funds into Canada? I am immigrating along with my wife and the min. fund requirement is around 15.5 k CAD. Yesterday I went to my bank and they said that I will be able to convert currency only upto USD 10k. I am planning to take that in cash and travel card. Any suggestions on how should i take the rest of the amount?

Hello All,

I have been silent spectator of this forum. This forum is of great help to everyone.

As reported by few other guys, there is no update on my application as well though 6 months processing time has already passed. Inquired from CiC, they asked to contact NDVO Office but NDVO does not give any information over the call instead ask to drop an email to which they don't respond.

This is getting on my nerves now.

My timelines are as below :

Application Submitted : 07-June-2016
AOR : 07-June-2016
Schedule 4 : 08-06-2016
Schedule 4 Submitted : 08-06-2016
Review of eligibility : In Progress
Review of medical results: Passed
Final Decision : Not Started

No change in profile since 08-06-2016. Any idea what the reason could be ?
