I have not submitted my passport. Yesterday I got passport submission request and shall submit in a day or two.
It usually takes 1-3 weeks to get back stamped passport.

two of my friends got PPR toady. their AOR were 23th and 24th September 2016.
I still dont get how CIC works. some from January are still waiting for PPR.

I hope i get it soon . I am becoming restless . My background check even haven't changed to in process yet.

well, my AOR was in june 27th, my back ground check is still in progress, i got PPR email on 17th november, and sent passport today, my online account is still having BG in progress, eligibility in progress, spreadsheet or any other way of tracking is baseless of getting any factual idea

I sent an email to CIC requesting status update and got reply very next day. I know my application hasn't crossed 6 months yet but this wait is killing me. I'll post the reply anyways. It seems pretty generic but somewhat comforting.

Dear Sir,

Your application is in the final stages of review prior to finalization and a decision should be rendered shortly.

We do not require any information from you at this present time. Should further information be required an officer will contact you.
