Hey guys, this is my first post on this forum. So, I received my AOR on June 23rd. I'm Brazilian, and applied through EE with a positive LMIA (federal skilled worker).

After that, they contacted me asking for a new copy of a new passport (cause mine would expire within a year) and a Canadian police clearance (which wasn't part of the application checklist). I sent those through the CIC website as instructed and they didn't even reply anything (just a standard automated message came via email acknowledging the form). It's already been 4 months since then with no contact from them.

The status looks like this on the dashboard:

Application/profile status: Open
Review of eligibility: Review in Progress
Review of medical results: Passed
Review of submitted documents: Provided
Scheduling an interview: Not needed at this time
A background check is needed: In Progress
Final decision: Not Started

I'm starting to get worried cause it's already 5 months since the AOR, but as I read here, it's all pretty normal, right? Should I request those notes under Access to Information Act? Do you guys think I have any reasons to be concerned? Thanks!

Yes thats pretty normal. Don't worry. Even my AOR is June 26th and FSW Inland. ATIP doesn't make sense for us now as it takes one month to get it anyways. I am expecting PPR requests for June AOR FSW inland tomorrow. Lets hope for the best!

Brother..all good with your notes..ready to finalize on analyst recommendation means you are almost thru..on your assessments..medicals( which was updated late ...is passed now) , criminality is passed, eligibility will be updated to passed soon enough..then security..

Positive all around..but yes a little delayed considering timelines...but a small piece of advice-better late, than never my friend..delays happen which are beyond our control..but im happy its all very very positive when it comes to your notes..

unlike others,but i actually live up to what i say and i was waiting to hear from you regarding your notes...

I'm not sure... I checked during the past 3 months and it's always been the same. But they've already requested the RCMP police clearance back on July 21 (which I sent on Aug 2), so I'm assuming it's the second? What does it usually mean?

Brother please confirm ur AOR date and please also confirm whether PNP Express entries files are processed at Centralized Ottawa Office our at our home country from where we submitted the application

I am a bit worried now. I got my AOR on 02 June 2016 everyone with a later date are already getting PPR's I don't know why is my file taking so long. :-[ :-[

Don't worry you still have not reach the 6 months mark. It also depends on your category, for example PNP is faster than CEC and FSW.
You will get your PPR soon, be patient
