Nothing specific I need to ask about section 16. As it's related to 3rd party verification, my only concern is that some of us belong to SGVO as our local visa office and any verification in our country takes long (I don't know why). I know some BD applicants whom I have communication over phone, waiting for more that 9 to 12 months. I am only searching the root cause of this delay to help all others.

Thanks.
I spoke with Sumit yesterday and I think he has given you some insights brother...

The sections are pretty normal to see, they arent to be deemed serious...i posted on this thread during our disagreement about the sections, in a very simple to understand way...

I dont know why they dont send bangladesh applicants applications to india..but i guess it is what it is...i am aware of how painfully slow sgvo is...and so many are waiting...

It is hard to connect s16 and slow processing time together...firstly, yes i agree s16 will be 'mostly' related to employment verification..(from what i researched) ..but you never know ...as its all blanked out...

I will leave you with some food for thought- i know of members that had sgvo as their vo but got PR within 6 months...because they were based out of singapore and not srilanka and bd...

I cant comment regarding the employment verification they do, at their end but its hard to connect the section and the long processing time together...

Wish I could help brother....but its sgvo...the notes after a point shows up as the same...

Best wishes :)

Sharing some details of our conversation here so others can benefit

Usually the process works like this ITA> eAPR> AOR> meds passed> r10 completeness check> a11.2 analyst recommendation> eligibility passed>RPRF ( if not paid earlier)> criminality > officer review(before or after security)> security>PPR

But some VOs, update eligibility during officer review and send RPRF and PPR in same letter once security is cleared...

Hope you can see how it works, might have sounded confusing over the phone

Hope this helps :)

Nowadays, RPRF is just a step toward application completion..maybe they requested you during R10 completeness check or a11.2 at CIO..RPRF is a very good sign either way

But the delays will happen after the file transfer to sgvo..most vos, send it to LVOs after a11.2 and leave LVOs to update eligibility..where it takes a long time, but if eligibility is met at CIO, then file was transfered to LVO, then the wait will not be very long

As your meds passed within 4 days, i believe you are probably seeing faster processing but im not sure..hopefully i guess

On the call i had suggested order notes in 100 days first..but now im suggesting order in 75 days..but mostly importantly check your VO(page 2)..it might be CPC O also..

Wait for now..

Hope this helps!!!! :)

Got this bro, thanks for this logical reasoning. I will however order notes after approximately 2.5 months as you suggested.

Thanks.

Order notes from atip..google atip

You would need you uci(from your wp) and express entry profile number..

Its pretty basic...costs 5 bucks and takes a month to come..

Even if your order, your lawyer wont find out

Hope this helps
Thank you and thanks for all the help in this Forum.

Hi Guys. I just got married 2nd November. Am here in Canada in a study permit. I missed one semester but i have the previous two semester's results. I want to apply for an open work permit when submitting my PR application. will this semester i missed affect my spousal sponsorship application?

Small suggestion: when you select "type of application"...select Permanent residence and not express entry..otherwise there will be delays in getting notes

You are welcome :)

Firstly, wrong thread but ill answer anyway...

Im stating my opinion here:

I dont think missing the semester will impact your Application for the PGWP but it might-all depends on the VO and depending on what your circumstances are...make sure you have a valid reason why you missed the semester...pay all the fees required for that semester...extend your study permit also..

In regards to the SOWP...chances of rejection are high..mainly due to-funds, lack of ties to home country, you supporting your spouse etc...see, on a study permit, you are only allowed to work 20 hrs a week..which most VOs have a problem with..coz they doubt whether you will be able to support your spouse..if you have lot of funds, might just work...

But read the spousal sponsorship section of this forum where more informed people can help you...these threads here are for express entry pr.. Here people may give you incoorect info..i have personally faced 2 SOWP refusals but third time it worked..im not aware of the rules in place currently so i dont want to wrongly advise you

My 2 cents- i am not aware what your plans are but i would advise not applying for the SOWP till you have your PGWP and a fulltime job..you can also just apply for PR with your spouse after you meet EE criteria

Hope this helps!!
