Not really cause there's no correlation between Thanksgiving and issuing PPRs but at least we have something to hope for. Being pessimistic won't help.

1. No one can say from the info you have provided. However, everyday spent with nothing amiss is good.

2. ECAS was decommissioned long ago. The only way for you to get updates is by ordering notes, mycic and calling them.

Suggestion: order notes. As you are outland you can use 3rd parties like visafile.info or gcmsnow

Hope this helps!

Thanks for your reply, I will try to order notes.

Additionally, when did your bg check go into progress? And was it first time/second time?

I did not know exact date when the BG changed to In Progress, last updated email received from CIC is on June'20 2016.

Thanks

Srikanth..

Firstly be very careful of how you display your number here because it is a public forum

Secondly, the reason i suggested to order notes is because the mycic wont give you much info, calling cic before 6 months will be futile....the review/ eligibility in progress means nothing..

I have my PPR and still for me it is showing as in progress...

The notes will give you an opportunity to find 1. VO- which primarily decides the processing time 2. If you have met all the assessments 3. If theres something amiss, you will get a chance to fix the same

The only disadvantage is that it takes a month to come..

Now, initially from what you had shared, it is difficult for anyone to provide valuable advice..

However, going by what category you applied under, vo, aor, etc definitely helps..

Going by your number, whats your country?
