My medical passed today... almost a month after AOR.

My BG check remains 'Not needed at this time'.

We are June applicants; we have a long way to go.. Current status below:

Review of eligibility: Review in Progress
Review of medical results: Passed
Review of submitted documents: Provided
Scheduling an interview: Not needed at this time
A background check is needed: Not needed at this time
Final decision: Not Started

The only website is the MyCIC website that these came from:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/e-services/account.asp

Each stage has a brief general explanation link but it's not the most informative. If you use google you can get more in depth explanations but what you see on the MyCIC is the most info relating to you that you will find.

Reason for refusal was I had not shown how I met section 75[c)2 points b and c for NOC 2112 chemist
IRC. Said although I attached a letter of employment it did not include my duties and that because of this I had not shown how my job matched the lead statement and main duties of NOC 2112. But IRCC made a mistake as I applied for NOC 2211 chemical technologist and not 2112 chemist
The error on my part was not Including my job description
I have explained this to SINP and they have asked I that submit a request for review, this should allow transfer of my nominee points to my newly created EE profile

Thank you for sharing your experience. You're giving us glimpse of hope . Are you an Inland applicant? What's your VO I'm assuming it's LVO as they process file quite faster than others.

Hi I am applying from the West Indies. The VO is in Trinidad. After i got PPR from CIC they sent my file to Trinidad and I sent my passport.

Everything is going to work out guys. Patience and keep helping others like myself

HI i was just wondering i was reading through the meaning of each status in CIC website

My BG check is: A background check is needed Not needed at this time and if you click on the question mark it says

Not needed at this time means we have not yet received an application for permanent residence. You need an invitation to apply before you can submit an application for permanent residence.

does this mean myu application for permanent residence is not yet recieved??

This has been my timeline since June 13

If your BG check has changed from 'Not Started' to 'In Progress' means that you're file is being looked at and being processed, whilst from BG check from 'Not Started' to 'Not Needed at this time' you file may have passed the completeness check or your R10 is OK. You may only know if your R10 is OK upon ordering GCMS notes.

CIC may request you to pay RPRF after a month or two assuming you haven't paid for it upfront. Otherwise, you'll receive a PPR ready for visa email.

Thanks for the info.
I paid the RPRF fees upfront to save time afterwards, but I am assuming that BG check changed to In Progress to Not needed at this time after medicals passed will remain like that only, as I have seen a lot of other posts on this forum confirming the similar pattern. People confirmed that BG check change again to In Progress later after sometime but also they get the PPR in same week when their BG status changes.

So hoping that everything goes smooth and receive the PPR mail soon.

I paid rprf upfront and just notified the charging of the payment just today.

Does this mean something?
why did it just charged now? (I payed upfront last June)
