The AOR JAN group seems to be static. I hope everyone got their PPR here.

I would like to update that after 9 months, I got my PPR, finally! My complete timeline is as follows:

FSW Outland (No PNP)
VO: Ottawa
AOR: 29 Jan 2016
Eligibility review started and Medical passed: early Feb
Background check in progress: 6 July
CSIS to return the background check result to IRCC: 1 September
PPR: 27 Oct 2016

Thank you guys for all the advice and accompany in this journey and wish you all the best in your Canadian life!

Yea I read that the SGVO had been experiencing some technical problem, they are now catching up with the standard processing time. Hang in there and your PPR is coming very very soon!

finally got the letter last week. i sent the copy of my passport and everything Sunday. Woohooooo!!!!!

quick question.... i apply to extend my work permit on Oct 31 and it's still not treated. Should i cancel it now or should i wait until i got the real letter?

Congratulations!!

Wait until Confirmation of Permanent Residence (CoPR) then you can call and cancel. You might get refund for WP fees if not processed yet.
