It's not a refusal, as you are only doing flagpoling they will deny you to enter us and turn you back to canada border to flagpole. It has no negative impact.
And if you are so hesitant, you can just go to bellingham for shopping, have a lunch/dinner then complete landing while returning.
One advantage is that you can bring goods without tax while landing.

I called up the SINP office to inquire about the extension on my nomination that is expiring in 10 days, while my PR application is still under review and to find out if I need to update them and request for a revised nomination in case the passport of my accompanying dependent has been renewed.

They told me to apply for both, extension and revision and provide the appropriate reason. They clearly told me that all applicants whose nomination is expiring while they have an application under processing, need to request for an extension, unless they have a work permit, which would automatically take care of the extension.

Accordingly, I filled up the form and requested for a revision and extension.

Hope this helps other applicants in the same situation.

dear my paper based PNP PR application received at CIO nova Scotia on 25 August 2016. I am renewing my passport as it was expiring within few months. Should I wait for AOR and then send my AOR details with renewed passport to SINP to get revision on my nomination certificate??? My nomination is expiring on 30 November 2016. Will SINP also give me the extension??
As my application is still showing submitted status, can I apply for sinp revision and extension at this stage because I have no AOR with me to communicate with SINP and ircc.
Is it also possible to send renewed passport to ircc at this stage I.e. before gettiin g AOR??

Kindly advice ......I am not able to decide on this....plz help

how long does it usually take to get PPR after this?

Other question: my work permit is expired Nov 24th but i have to travel the same week for work. Can i enter the country back after Nov é'Th with a visitor visa?
