I am losing my grip now ....how long to hang in :o.The wait seems never ending and very frustrating

Yesterday I told Svetlanka to hang in there, and she got her PPR today. So you hang in there too, and you'll probably be next. ;D

Hello everyone,

Just wanted to let you all know that I finally got my PPR today after 8.5 months from NDVO.

Thanks for all the support and guidance. Hope you all hear the good news soon.

Hi Everyone,

I received my PPR last friday after 8 whole months of waiting! I couldn't be more relieved!

I do have a question on the landing process for Inlanders.

I live in Vancouver, BC, and the only option we have to complete landing (via LAND) is to flagpole at the US border as the CIC offices do not allow appointments unless initiated by them.

I do know that flagpoling is relatively safer, but if I am not mistaken the process involves an administrative refusal by the US border, and I am a little concerned by this. Any thoughts?

It's not a refusal, as you are only doing flagpoling they will deny you to enter us and turn you back to canada border to flagpole. It has no negative impact.
And if you are so hesitant, you can just go to bellingham for shopping, have a lunch/dinner then complete landing while returning.
One advantage is that you can bring goods without tax while landing.
