AOR JAN 2016 - let's get together

Hi all,

God bless you all!

1) My ECAS (Business Stream) shows latest status is: "Medical results have been received." (30/7/2016)
2) My friend's "myCIC" account" (Skilled Worker stream) shows "Medical passed" (30/7/2016)

I am worrying about the wording, it is clearly that "passed" is perfect, whilst my case is still waiting for final assessment on my medical results?!

Would you please share your experience regarding updated status in ECAS/ my CIC

I hope this thread is officially closed because everyone w/ Jan AOR got their PPR! But I know some of you are still hanging there. Stay strong! I was one of you and probably had a worse situation compares to many of you but I was happy with the result and I'm planning to take a trip back to China and finish landing at Pearson Airport in Toronto when I'm coming back.

I ordered my notes on August 2nd and received it on Sep 1st so I think I will share some findings after reading the 168 pages long report. Overall it's straight forward basically covered all the moves from my EE profile created to July 26 - the last entry before they pulled info on August 10th

Keep elements I found useful are:

1. RICC works with USA for bio check, they sent a request to the states ask for a background check report, I assume this is because I hold a US B1/B2 Visa and I gave my fingerprints when I applied for that.

2. Due to my husband's inadmissibility, my case was frozen after the case analyst reviewed it back in May, until the issue was resolved and he received his ARC in mid July. Once it's reopen, or I should say its processing again, it seems they did criminal & medical check again (both of them were passed in Feb but notes shows it was check again in July under activities)

3. ARC, if anyone is inadmissible due to a Deportation order, they can apply for ARC to remove that, this often happens in the family spouse case or in my case, my husband. His situation caused I'm inadmissible for PR unless an ARC was granted to him. RICC first asked us to upload ARC application to my CIC account but after we did that they asked us to submit it by mail to a local VO. First I thought RICC was making a mistake by requesting it twice but notes shows, the first time they asked for uploading was because the case analyst wants to review it (just like they review Job history, the notes were the application is consistent with the LOE etc recommend to pass), then the analyst left a note in my profile (blanked), I assume it's for the local VO to read.

4. Security check, 3 pages was blanked out for that but like my assumptionbefore my SC started on July 26. I received PPR on August 15th, so it was about 3 weeks from SC started to the finish line. Again this estimation is based on my travel history (longtime living in China and Canada, and short vacations in US and Thailand). I can't tell if they conducted a SC for my spouse, he is not accompanied this time for the PR due to his job but he has a rather simple travel history too (living/working China Canada and Zimbabwe, vacation Thailand)

I say we need to organize a protest in front of the Canadian High Commission in Singapore (wait, Singapore does not allow protests, too bad!)

Alright.

SPVO seems to be really slow these days. Looks like they are still packed with Student Visas.

CIC have an official page in twitter. I guess we can write our complains there. I've already put a comment few days ago. But if the comments are 100-200-300....they will have higher visibility. At least nothing to loose.
 
It seems that we are all stuck with a security check which takes very long time
 
Actually I thought of that. The Canadian High Commission in Singapore (which is where my application is) also has a twitter account, as well as their High Commissioner (the boss). But I was afraid of any potential backlash.

True. Such things might help your application but at the same time, might also mess up your application more. If I was you, I will stay away from all this.
 
I've ordered a second set of GCMS note. I am just unable to wait. >:( Atleast some information that it is being processed would be ok. But this is excruciating! [AOR: JAN 19th] It is already September. Shouldn't the volume for student visa applications reduced? If that was the holdup! ???
 
Anyone, who had applied for GCMS notes in first week of AUG and not recd it ??

Hi Guys, I need some help in understanding my GCMS notes. I got them yesterday (applied on 6th Aug).
My App Details:
AOR - 27th Jan, PNP Outland
Primary Office - New Delhi
FIle Transfer to New Delhi - 2016/04/27

In the GCMS notes, I can see the following in the assessments section:
Eligibility - Passed
Security - Not Started
Criminality - In Progress
Medical - Passed

Also, at the end of the notes, I can see several sections, where agent comments and other updates are added. They are named like NOTES: 1, NOTES: 2, etc.

The last note that I can see was created on 19th July.
NOTES: 16
Created Date: 2016/07/19
Label: Adm/Criminality
Text: RCMP screening was cancelled. RCMP response: No Reportable Trace

Before that there are several assessments which state that I seems to meet all other requirements.

Does that mean that they have not touched my file since 17th July? Also, what other checks are remaining (Security is still Not Started)? Not sure how long this wait will last.
