AOR JAN 2016 - let's get together

I had got the following reply to my CSE last week:

"Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

We have verified the information you provided and can confirm that your application is in process.

If further information is needed, the responsible office will contact you."

Its been 6 months 22 days since AOR, no changes yet. 'Background Check' is still 'Not Needed'

Really worried as to what is happening on my application. Cant even order GCMS as I am applying from Abu Dhabi

6 months 22 days from AOR still waiting.
BG in progress for 2 months now.
Called cic this morning and the agent told me that
My security check is ongoing.
I believe that is because of my military and enforcement background
 
Have just got the GCMS notes, which had been requested in the mid June. So guys, assessments reads "Eligibility: Review required, and then NOTE 1 which was created in May says Analyst Recommendation: Review Required; A11.2: Appears met, FSW Appears met and all listed by analyst is also met and seems OK to me. However, if everything seems good, why the eligibility review is still required? Has any of you seen anything alike in your GCMS notes? Should I worry?

BTW, I have recently contacted CIC and the agent told me that everything is passed and that currently the security is being checked.
 
I am hoping by this week your bg status will go in progress and next week you will receive the PPR.

Almost exactly the same case here :)))
AOR jan19. Soon will cross 7 months.
Again security in progress and again military docs were requested back in june.

Makes me so anxious, so, so much :///

I think you are good, they had to verify some information, which i believe is completed now and your eligibility is marked as passed. i see your bg is in progress, which is a good sign too.
 
Just received my passports back. Took 6 days.

Hi,

I have a question about proof of funds at the time of landing. I will be landing first. My wife and child will follow after a month. Can anyone shed some light on how much money I need to show at the time of landing and how much my wife needs to carry at the time of her entry with my child?

i never did GCMS. however when i called CIC they told me then same thing. they are checking security and then it's good. nothing is updated on my CIC profil, eligibilty is still in process and BG is still not needed. i will call them back next week.

The principal applicant should be able to show POF at the time of his/her landing.

Your family, when they land , dont have to show any more POF.
