I received the AOR on January 18th 2016. Background check changes to in progress on June 28 and there has been no change after that. 6 months are over.. Still waiting for PPR.

Anyone with a similar timeline?

very similar situation here. will cross 6 months tomorrow. bgc in progress since june 22.

Those crossing 6 months can call their visa offices. Somewhere on this forum people said CIC has obligation to answer requests from people waiting for more than 6 months, since 6 months are the promised time by CIC

Nopes, there is no obligation for them to answer requests from people waiting for more than 6 months. Also if your file has been transferred from Canada office to local VO's then agents wont be able to provide any help.

I completed 6 months last week back and the only information they provided me was, that you will have to wait till August end.

I don't need visa, so my VO requested for photos only

If it is Approved y i have'nt recieved PPR yet....wat about security?

Last update on GCMS notes is
Final Approved on 26th april 2016 by NDVO..
No updates after that
...Did i missed my PPR mail(Which i dont think)....Wat should i do?

Hello Guys,

I need your help regarding some queries. After the submission of my new born baby documents to CIC immigration they had requested more documents as follows:
1. Medical examination proof For Child.
2. Valid passport for All.
3. Processing fee for the child

Medical exam I can understand and provide the same but Passport copies of all the family members is already upload and provided and I had also submitted the required processing fee of CAD$ 150 with online portal and shared the acknowledgment of processed fee with last documents.

So why they had asked to share the passports and processing fee documents again? Or shall I ask them on the same email address where they had asked to share documents that they didn't received those documents?

Please let me know who had gone Through the same process.

I have no issue in sharing the documents again but my main big concern is that did they had received the processing fee acknowledgement? If yes then why they need it again? Or Should I had to fill some fee document along with the fee acknowledgement?

Find out from GCMS notes that they have raised PPR on 27th april the day application got approved....
I am in panic state...
But my CIC account show In progress status....Application still open and in progress
wat are the other ways to contact NDVO.....????dont know wat to do...they are not replying the mail

Were you able to talk to any agents? Try around 5:30-6pm IST. Lines are relatively free that time.
