A similar case from december thread received his PPR in 6 months and 2 weeks. So we have hope. I am going to wait until the end of July and then i will mail the program manager at NDVO about my Case

It's good that there is hope. I agree. I think end of July seems an appropriate time to follow up on stronger!

I got my PPR a week after completing six months. I am CIC Inland, FSW. So, don't worry. You will get it. Just follow up with them once you complete six months (if you don't get it by then).

Thanks..

Just called CIC as my application has crossed the 6 months mark.

They informed that they have already requested the Visa office in Singapore to process visa. But I havent yet received the PPR. Moreover, the Status on my online profile has not yet been updated. it still shows BG under progress.

Anyone facing this situation?

What's your timeline ? Is your VO Singapore ?

hi, I got my AOR on 27th Dec 15. Yes VO is Singapore.
is there a backlog in SG? the agent mentioned they had forwarded the file to SG early June after BG and Eligibility check.
WHat abt you?

For all applicants having VO as NDVO, following is an update from High Commission of Canada:

Canada in India (High Commission of Canada) FB page:
"Applying for a Canadian visa? Please note that we are experiencing record high volumes and longer than normal processing times across our India network. This can mean spending a number of weeks without your passport if it is submitted with the application"

Twitter handle @CanadainIndia:
"Applying for CDN visa? Please note we are experiencing record high volumes & longer than normal processing times across our India network."

So we can expect a delay in processing :(

Cool mate! You did it, congrats! ;D so we can assume that your rprf was sent you along with PPR right?

Thank you, valsanail!
Yes, RPRF request was sent along with PPR :) They asked me to sent RPRF receipt to Mississuaga office by some reason. We did it online on Thursday and on Friday received a reply from them: "We have forwarded the information you provided to the responsible office. They will contact you only if they require further information." However, I'm planning to send a draft copy of my RPRF receipt along with photos to my VO as well (just in case :)).

yup pretty much, few are waiting for ppr more than 8 months

mine was processed at ottawa but PP submitted to SGVO for copr, most of the VOs take 1-2 weeks, SGVO's visa stamp takes 4-6 weeks

Whats this 'ghost mail' you are referring to in you status timeline?
