Jan 30 AOR - CEC - Inland - BG turned on since June 30 and finally PPR today! :-*

But no change in CIC account though.

I can not express the happiness I am going thru in words..... This forum has been a great support for me and I thank and wish everyone a great future in Canada :)

I wish and pray for everyone else who are still waiting for the PPR and I hope it is not too far...

ALL THE VERY BEST GUYS

Is there any separate thread to track the Passport status ?

Congratulations !!!

Just send my passport.
A quick question: how long will it take to get the passport back?

Inland or Outland?

If inland then 15-20 days.
Outland depends on your VO

Thanks for the info!
I am inland.
I didn't expect that long. Anyway, it doesn't hurt to wait another couple of weeks!

OINP, AoR 17 Jan 16, NDVO
No updates since AoR, except for Schedule 4A on 22 Jan 16. Background check was also at "not started" till today.
Had almost lost hope of getting it... But, believe me guys... the system works !!
Got my PPR this afternoon - 178th day !
The status turned to 'Background check in progress' along with the PPR letter today.
I hired no consultant, no representative, never applied for GCMS notes, and of course, there was no way to speak to NDVO.
In fact it was easier to reach out to CPC Ottawa. I did sent a mail 3 days back to NDVO. Not sure if that worked.
Patience was killing... But I trust the CIC folks follow their methods diligently and also stick to timelines. Kudos to them !
I did followed this wonderful group patiently.... A great bunch of people pepping up one another !!
All the best guys !! You sure will get it, may be just a wee bit later than what you have expected.. thats all

CONGRATULATION...........

Don't worry. You will get it. I got it today. My AOR is 06-Jan

Hi there,

I got my PPR yesterday as well... on the same day our third baby was born!!

I am inland applicant and a UK passport holder.

Just a quick question. In the email I received it says they want us to send :

" If you are holder of passport(s) from countries whose citizens need an eTA to travel to Canada, you will need to submit one photocopy of the photo page and any pages containing amendments of the passport for you and for each accompanying family member. Please do not send your original passport(s). Your passport(s) should be valid for at least 6 months" .

Does this mean I just send copies of the photo page for each of us? When it says send copies of "pages containing any amendments" - does this mean with official amendments, or just pages which have entry / exit stamps etc?

Thanks all!
