Ravi, I just realized you and I are in a similar situation. No update since the AOR - not even the Background Check. Good luck to us, and obviously all members who haven't received their Passport Requests.

I called this morning and got a somewhat unpleasant agent on the line, if "Richard" (with a thick Quebecois accent) answers the phone hang up.

I am not sure if it was the same guy, but I too had bad experience with one of the agents. He was not even ready to listen to me. Very grumpy

Yes. The only update for me was the Schedule A they have asked for my spouse fifteen days after AOR. I have submitted in a day or two and that's it. No updates. My BGC changed to In progress at that time itself

Hi everyone.

I was a scilent member of the group aor 27 jan inland fsw candidate just got paasport request today at 4:15pm via my consultant. Last month i got the status update but nothing was changed but when i asked for the status today background check was in progress so got some hope and finally after sometime she forwadrded me the ready for visa email .

I wish you all best of luck. For my case processing time is around 5.5 months and no additional info or doc required.

May you all also get the golden email soon. Thanks for your help.

Yes. They are in India and today I have sent a CSE telling them about the same again (I have mentioned the details in the Schedule A they have requested in Jan).

Those who have not got PPR...don't worry it will come soon. The tsunami has started. I'm thinking CIC is going head full steam and is working to review and close all Jan applications by end July. I will stay around on this forum to help anyone with questions.

i m worried abt the visa office they will request us to submit the passport/..since she is in india and my visa office is ottawa..how's that gonna work? any idea?
