My friends!!!!

I just came back from the interview. It was not an interview, it was our landing!!!!
Received the Permanent Residency papers at CIC office!!!

Really really happy now!!!

Got a friend who is wondering - She is the main applicant. Her husband was just recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes (early stages and started medication for an initial 3 months). No sugar in the urine. Any advise on how this may affect the medical results?

We may need to inform each other when there is an update on PPR !! .. to keep us tracked....
Looks like few people got same response from call center agents...

Shouldn't really matter as they are not calling the bank to verify the current balance. Make sure your funds are above LICO at the time of landing (take recent statements at that time).

This is good to hear! I had to dip into this spare cash but will be able to put the money back before landing in Canada!

Did you guys exceed the 6 month timeline?

Hello!
I also got ITA in January, and still no news.
I have a question, how will they check my work experience if the company is closed already, and phone numbers dont work(numberes in reference letter)?

It seems for Canadian companies, cic checks whether office address is genuine and if office exists (through google map) in that address. This is what I find from gcms notes. Not sure about foreign companies.

Better to explain this in the letter of explanation. attached your old bank statements and payslips if possible as a supporting documents.Otherwise your application will be stuck .

Don't worry. Companies go bankrupt all the time. Raise a CSE and update your supervisors personal number if you are too much worried.

Should one can raise CSE if the file is in security check/background stage and crossed 5 months?

If it's just security is remained, then you are good I guess. Order GCMS and see if everything else is ok.
