I haven't. AOR January 26. BGC went into progress June 28th (or 29th) and no updates since.

This is really starting to consume my everyday life. I'm trying to put myself in a state of mind where this shouldn't be an issue until my 6 months is up. So, basically, I'm trying rewire my mind to not care or worry. Clearly, I'm failing miserably.

My BG went in progress on 22nd and waiting for more 18 days for an update. Fingers crossed, :-X

Just an update - I have just called CIC and the agent, very kind by the way, confirmed me that my process is completed and everything is ok. Now I just need to wait for the PPR in the coming days.

Just like LUA, this has been consuming me miserably, reaching a worse scale every day in comparison to the day before. However, I must say this call was very helpful to calm me down at least for a few days. I hope to get back here soon with the golden e-mail.

I tried 888-242-2100 and its saying 'Cannot connect and please check the no you have dialed'. Does this no work only for people inside Canada? I am calling from USA.

I am also trying +1 888 242 2100 since many days but says " your number can not be connected......."

I had this problem too. Someone suggested this number: +1 613 944 4000

It worked well for me.

Hi Friends

just called CIC ....agent said they have sent to NDVO on 26th april....ask them..(exactly when my Background check went into progress)
Its been over 2 months now ....still no PPR...dont know y they are taking so long in BG check.
is anybody familiar this situation...
did anybody called to NDVO office

I have not passed 6 months .... another two weeks to do... but I just gave a try... i know most of the agents are not willing to pull details...
I called early morning 08:30 am ... luckily I was told that all verification are completed on my file... Final Decision is pending ... !! I am waiting to see some good news by next week....
