if you got married and then submitted your file, i m 100% sure u will also get this additional document request.
i would suggest to be prepared with these docs.
since u have i time;
get your wife to be listed as mandate holder of your bank account in your home country and send some money in her name for few months continously..

Congratulations. I got the ghost email yesterday. Usually how long does it take to get the PPR after the ghost email? My BGC was in progress for 4 months

i can confirm, at first the status on the application was "updated" then went back to Submitted
I got ghost email and my Background moved to "in Progress"
Finally things are moving

EDIT: I never actually received an email. I just logged into my account and I saw that the application status had been updated.

I'm glad something is finally starting to happen.
Although it looks like it might be a few days before the decision is made.

Lua, You nailed it regarding someone reviewing the application now i am thinking of all the possible mistakes i might have done. But as the name implies its more of a security check, so i guess we are all good.

Check your Clutter folder in your email, probably this is where the ghost emails go to

I hope so. A good friend of mine (she got her PPR a couple of weeks ago - Inland CEC), said that a few of her co-workers who had applied were rejected early on, within the first couple of weeks from applying. So maybe this is really the final - dotting the i's and crossing the t's....maybe. We will see.
