I got PPR ....really happy ...and best of luck to all who is waiting.

I have one question ,
I was FSW inland while I applied but right now I am in India and getting married on July 7/2016. I want to include my wife also . So what I have to do rightnow . change VO or wait till get married and let them know after or anything else?

Also I got my work permit approval with LmO and visa on my passport and I am returning on July 30. So will it affect my PR file ?

Congratulations. I think all your Canadian work permits and VISAs will be void once you get this VISA stamped on your passport. For one of my friend, they have taken all work permit documents for shredding when they were landing :)

I submitted my passport and two photos to the VFS to send to the VO on the 16th, It was approved and closed on the 21st and my passport was delivered by courier on the 23rd.

I had a question, inside the packet was my stamped passport with a visa (without a photo) which said single entry and Two CPR forms (Identical) one had one of the 2 photos I submitted attached and the other had no photo in the same place but the second photo that I had submitted was lying in the packet, I'm wondering If that was supposed to be attached to the form? Is this how other folks have received their forms/passport? In addition there are a couple of instruction sheets.

My AOR was Jan 23rd 2016 and The CPR and Visa are Valid till Jan 21st 2017.

That's exactly what you should be getting. It is a single entry visa because once you land the border security will apply for your PR card then you don't need a visa to enter Canada. The other copy of COPR will be needed at the time of landing and will be signed by you and border security officer.

YAYYYY!! PPR FINALLY!! 5 months and 7days after AOR

Ecstatic at the moment but something in the READY FOR VISA mail I find is scary. It has a section where it's written NOTE: This is not a guarantee that a visa will be issued to you. - do I need to worry? Or it's the same with everyone?

Congratulations!!

Hi Bro..

I went back to check my PPR email. There is no such NOTE with the disclaimer.

May be the format is different for different category of applicants.

Regards.

Regards.

Sorry to hear about it Nataj. It must be really tough to come back to this topic and see so many PPRs or Background checks in progress.

For those that have applied in the months after us January folks, I did the same as you; check what dates or how many days it takes to get to this stage. I checked the November and December threads and they pretty much correspond to what we are getting (FSW that is).
5 months and a few days.

To those who have received their PPR, Congratulations! Soon, a great country awaits our arrival! :D

I love the feeling I have now. I am extatic, but at the same time I realise that their is still so much to be done still (not necessarily to get the Visa but settling affairs and stuff). But these are things that are clear and there is no wait in them where you wonder what will happen.
The force is strong :)

Same with me. Background check went into "In Progress" on 21st june. Received a delayed email on 22nd june i.e. yesterday. Nothing since then.

Me too, BGC went in progress on 23rd and today on 24th I got the ghost email.

Hope all of us get the PPR email tomorrow!!! Well or today, cause that usually happens tuesdays and fridays :)
