Any FSW Outland applicants in Jan AOR whose background check is in progress?? Mine is sticking to 'Not started' from late Jan.

Same here. Very few FSW outland applicants without PNP have got their PPR's. Only one or two. We will have to wait a month or so more.

Hello guys.. newbie here..
AOR of Jan, FSW Outland, OINP, and still waiting at Eligibility check in progress...
I have an admit in a Canadian university for the course commencing in Fall 16. So I have to get there by mid Aug positively.
My apprehensions are ...
1. How long should I wait for PPR before I can decide to apply for a Study Visa keeping a safe time margin for stamping of study visa..
2. Just to be on a safer side, in case do I forward an application for Study Visa right away, would it be counterproductive for my PR application. Can I put forward the reason in a LoE for Study Visa so that the PR application is kept alive and I get the PR by the time I reach Canada or after I reach Canada.
Thanx and all the best guys

Bro...I can only ans your query no.1 ..The official time line for EE application is 6 month and your App may get processed early or bit of delay depending upon your case

For your 2nd query i hope some senior can put more light on it..

1. better you wait for 6 months or else raise GCMS notes quickly, you may see some positive news in that response.
2. you can always show dual intention, it's there in their policies.
