Guys whats AOR i know its Acknowledment of recepit but ya what does it mean?

like my Ontario Document Package was submittted on 7th of January 2016, and according to DHL someone signed for it so i know Ontario received it, but after that i heard nothing from them.

My meds were set to passed yesterday and our AOR was received on 23rd jan. So it's completely random. I read somewhere that in case of emedical it takes around a week for the results but in case results are posted, it takes a lot of time.

Any idea what exactly is the status when CIC is satisfied with the documents you have uploaded and there is no further requirement?

Is this true that outland applicants are getting their ppr earlier than inland applicants? Just curious! :)

I also think that. I think they have many applications here in canada, and in other countries not much people apply for EE..
That's what i thought

You will receive the official confirmation from the CIC, it is the AOR.

AOR is for express entry
If you send a mail application you will not get AOR
They will send you one communication after reviewing your application and tell you if they accep or reject or need more information

It's normal, usualy it takes a couple of month before some status change... We all hope that it will be quicker :)

Meds passed! :) So now my status is: Application: Open, Eligibility: Review in Progress, Meds: Passed, and the rest have not yet started/not need at this time. So at least a little progress has been made!

It takes 8-12 weeks. One of my friends received it after 13 weeks.

AOR is for paper applications as well. In EE, it is generated by computer and you receive it in less than 24 hrs after submitting your application.
